Who are you?

Holiday is composed of a small group of friends who met and game together in Final Fantasy XI. We do not strive to be remarkable or well-known, we just play to have fun. Most of us are retired from end-game, and just enjoy whatever events we can tackle as a small group.

No no, I mean who is this Fluffy that is answering the questions?

Most people in-game outside the linkshell know me as Kyr. The nickname of Fluffy was coined by my good friend Amenti, and I've kept it ever since.

How long has Holiday been around?

Many years now. I'm not good with exact dates, ask a member online if you really care.

How can I join Holiday?

Holiday is an invite only linkshell - meaning that we do not actively recruit or accept anybody. The only way people join is if we ask them to join and they accept. We do not and will never accept people just because they ask. In fact, asking to join will probably only encourage us not to invite you. It's not that we're mean, or cruel, or don't like you (though it is possible!). We have a very close-knit group and will only accept someone if EVERY member of Holiday is okay with it completely.

Who is the leader of the linkshell?

Amenti is the founder and leader, without her our group wouldn't still be active today in Final Fantasy XI.

Can I join the forums, even if I'm not a member?

Of course, though you will only have access to the public sections.

I'm having problems with the websites or forums, who do I talk to?

Post on the forums. If you can't do that, /tell Kyr or Saprykin in-game. If that isn't an option, find someone who can contact one of us. If that isn't an option, then I'm not sure why you'd want to contact us in the first place. For the most part there shouldn't be any major problems with the site that can't be solved through these lines of communication.

I didn't give you permission to use or share my artwork!

The images used in the design of the website and shared here are mostly ones that we have come across all over the net, and as the internet goes, often doesn't have any information about the creator's name or desires to not allow for public use.

I have no desire to infringe on your rights as an artist, so if anything here is someone elses work who doesn't want it on the site, contact me ASAP with proof that it is your artwork. It'll be taken down immediately. If you'd just like credit, once again send proof my way, and I'll give credit where it is due.

The site doesn't look right in Opera/Netscape/some other browser! You should fix that!

I designed our website to work under the latest version of Firefox and Internet Explorer. I make no promises that the design will be perfect under any other browser, and to be honest, have no desire to bother with putting in any more work than is necessary when only 8-10 people will ever get active use out of this website. If enough of our own members start using another browser, then I will consider making sure that everything works with an additional one.

There's another question you should answer in this section, can you add it?
